Saudi Arabia has announced to build 3 thousand temporary houses for the earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the General Supervisor of the King Salman Relief Center, Abdullah al-Rabiyyah, said in a statement yesterday that the assistance to the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria needs to continue for weeks and maybe months, because the earthquake is bigger. There has been destruction on a scale.
He explained that Saudi Arabia's aid campaign is ongoing in Turkey and northern Syria. The door to volunteering in the Syrian region of Aleppo is still open. He said that the Center had provided temporary tents for the people affected by the earthquake. He said that Saudi Arabia will build 3,000 temporary houses for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria and will continue to provide aid in the form of medicine, food and emergency supplies.
He said that Saudi Arabia is one of the first countries that took immediate action after this natural disaster. He said he was in talks with the Syrian Red Crescent to set priorities and provide support in Aleppo.
