Pakhtoon Students Festival
Pashtun student festival took initiative last year to develop a platform for students across all universities in Karachi. It comprises 6 core members hailing from different universities who coordinates with each other in all respective works. We struggled in 2019 to build a sole student platform in order to connect them from different universities & colleges aiming to enhance educational activities among Pashtun communities. We conducted a program in Karachi date February 13th 2019! In which many students and bureaucrats and human right person participated with the sole of promoting education in the society
Aim/purpose: This program initiated with the sole aim of promoting education and culture in the society with due reason that unfortunately Pashtun communities don't focus much on education to build the future of their children. We have experienced that kids or underage children are working in different places though it is their education time. In this program we are in touch to various universities students to help out through all educational activities in university or schooling level.
Participant of the program: participation in the program welcome from all aspects of Pashtoon communities who can contribute to the educational activities and culture promotion in the regard. However in the program political scoring is strictly prohibited because we are far away from politics and their umbrella organizations.
What are the parts of program? The program consists of two parts. Part one is to highlight the genuine issues being faced by students in student life and also promotion of the cultural activities in a positive way . In the program we have invited the famous poet of recent era Munir buneri who has been famous due to his poetry linking it with reality of Pashtoon communities or repercussions of what is ongoing in Pashtun communities. 2nd part of the program is to have musical show in which a singer will sing songs to fascinate the program with folk dance (Attan). It has been shared with sequence. You can add or deduct the part where necessary with majority of your consent.
