No medical center is complete without providing quality meals to patients. At JPMC, where most patients are underprivileged and from other cities, the Jinnah Food Complex, a Patients' Aid Foundation project, ensures hygienic, quality food for patient attendants and security staff. This facility includes:

1. **Main Hospital Kitchen:** Managed by the Govt. of Sindh, offering meals to 1800 in-patients daily.
2. **Ta-am Gah:** Serving breakfast to 200 and dinner to 250 attendants and staff.

Ashraf and Farheen Mukaty generously support the complex’s civil works and maintenance.

**Sehri & Iftar**

During Ramadan, Ta-am Gah provides 600 Sehri and 1000 Iftar meals to attendants and staff, embodying the spirit of the holy month. Donations from around the world support this initiative, helping us provide essential services in the name of humanity.

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology manages an annual caseload of over 21,000 Obstetrics cases, conducting nearly 65 deliveries each day. Approximately one out of every ten newborns necessitates intensive care. Previously, the JPMC faced challenges with an inactive neonatal nursery due to the absence of essential equipment. However, due to the benevolence of an anonymous donor, the department has undergone extensive renovations and is now equipped with eight incubators, four infant warmers, a digital X-ray machine, and sustained operational funding. The establishment of this new Neonatal ICU (NICU) is a pivotal advancement in ensuring timely and effective newborn care. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the donor and all contributors for their invaluable support in making this possible.

Muhammad Hashim from Dadu came to JPMC suffering from a brain tumor that caused frequent dizziness and loss of consciousness. After careful diagnosis, he underwent successful treatment in the CyberKnife 2 operating theater.

This life-changing procedure was made possible through the support of our generous donors Nayyar and Yaqoob Ahmed, whose contributions ensure patients like Hashim receive advanced medical care regardless of their circumstances. Today, he has returned home with renewed health and hope, a testament to the impact of quality healthcare and community support.

The first PET CT (Positron Emission Tomography) machine was installed at JPMC in 2016 and since then it has helped countless patients with their battles against Cancer. Positron Emission Tomography is used to scan the human body, to gauge the extent and spread of any cancerous cells. Once a patient has gone through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, a second PET-CT scan ensures that all cancerous cells have been removed.
The cost of a PET-CT Scan in PakistanRs. 85,000 per patient minimum . However, PAF- JPMC is the only centre in Pakistan that offers free of charge scan facilities. This free facility is to date not available in other provinces, though through the efforts of the JPMC and the Patients Aid Foundation (PAF) we are closer to a healthier, safer nation.
On behalf of the PAF and JPMC, we would like to sincerely offer our eternal gratitude to the Donor family as well as the Government of Sindh for making all this possible.
