In our practice over the years we have seen a common but unfortunate trend. Patients come in with prescriptions from their local clinic and it’s surprising to see either the same medication being prescribed in different brands, or maybe even the wrong medication being prescribed without the right tests and diagnosis 😪
We believe this is one of the main reasons why so many people feel they can’t trust healthcare enough. But we urge you to believe that there are capable and helpful doctors out there who aren’t just in this noble profession to make 💵
Here are some signs to look for when visiting a doctor:
⚕️How do you feel about the hygiene in the clinic when you walk in and look around 🧹Is it clean or are there any signs of poor maintenance? If a clinic isn’t being maintained, chances are you’re in a practice that isn’t being cared for. Don’t fall for fancy furniture and interiors - the idea is to have a space that’s easy to clean and sterilise.
⚕️When you meet your doctor, you should feel heard and not rushed 👩🏻⚕️ The process of a doctor’s consultation should always be thorough and should not make you feel like the doctor was trying to get you out to get the next patient in
⚕️Tools, implements, disposal of any used needles/syringes, and preparation of the area in which the patient will be treated should all be in sight and visibly clean. These are key areas where extreme caution should be taken ⚠️
⚕️Medical prescriptions should be written while explaining what each medication is for and how to take it 💊 There shouldn’t be repeated products in different brand names and the use of medication should be subject to proper diagnosis and, if necessary, testing
⚕️The right doctors learn through experience over the years that diet, sleep, and exercise are also a major part of your health ⛑ Your doctor cannot prescribe home-remedies or alternation medicine but, when getting a prescription from them, telling your doctor about any alternate forms of medicine or remedies that you take should not lead to them belittling you. If your doctor knows you better through open communication, they could guide you on any changes you need to make to feel better or maintain good health!💪
At Al rehmat naturasonologist clinic we pride ourselves in taking the time to hear our patients out, get to assess their illness with our years of clinical and hospital practice, and provide them with the right advice, tests, prescription, and, most importantly, the care that they seek when they visit a doctor 🏥
