Prof. Mahmud Jilani MBBS (Dow), MRCP (UK), FRCP (Glasg).
Professor Mahmud Jilani graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi in 1978. He did MRCP from UK in 1983 and was subsequently elected as FRCP from Glasgow, UK. He worked and trained in UK for several years before moving to Pakistan. His specialty has been Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He has been involved in academics and worked in teaching hospitals for over 40 years. He is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, Ziauddin University Hospital. He is also the head of Department of Emergency Medicine, Ziauddin University Hospitals. This teaching program has been ongoing for about 10 years producing much needed competent Emergency Medicine physicians. These trained specialists are leading Medicine and Emergency Medicine teams in various hospitals of our country and abroad.
