The Institute of Professional Psychology has been established in response to dire need for mental health professionals and acute dearth of professional services in Pakistan. Our mission is to provide excellent education for career in Psychology through integration of theory and professional practice. We strive to provide our students with every possible resource for academic success. The programs offered at graduate and post graduate levels are tailored to meet the latest curriculum requirements in the field of psychology; with specializations in domains of Clinical, Educational and Organizational psychology. We not only educate people through the degree programs, but also with various workshops and training sessions that cater diverse topics. It works as an attempt to give our masses the flavor of psychology. Our dedicated faculty members are not only scholars but practicing psychologist with years of hands-on experience. The Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University invites academics, practitioners, researchers, and organizations to be part of PsyX International Conference 2026 – Psychology × Society × Intelligence, taking place on 21 May 2026 (Hybrid Mode).

We welcome proposals for Workshops, Masterclasses, and Professional Bootcamps leading up to or following the conference.

Following the theme of International Women's Day on 08-03-2026, Dr. , Director / Principal IPP, conducted a powerful and reflective self empowerment group intervention session with resident females at Panah Shelter in Karachi. The visit was conducted in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium on 10-03-2026.

The group intervention focused on the psycho-education of the young girls regarding the body-mind connection and how they could understand and deal better with their difficult emotions within a challenging environment.

PhD Scholars of IPP enrolled in the course of Psychological Rehabilitation along with the Rotary Club members were also provided with a briefing on the medico-legal, functional and infrastructure-based aspects of running a shelter for women in Pakistan. They were provided with the unique opportunity to interact with the residents and gain first hand knowledge about their issues.

The visit included a round of the premises, skill development areas (stitching/ grooming/cooking/computer lab) and culminated with monetary support through purchase of different products made by the female residents.

The postgraduate students of the Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Bahria University, organized a Mental Health Camp at Beacon Lite Academy – Maymar Campus on 16th February 2026.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Umeed e Nau Clinical Incharges, Ms. Rabia Muzaffar and Ms.

The camp provided a safe and supportive space for A & O Level students to learn stress management techniques, understand their personality strengths, and seek guidance about their academic paths.

It was encouraging to see students actively participating and sharing their thoughts about their well-being and future goals.
A Time Management Workshop was also conducted by Ms. Rabia Muzaffar, where students learned practical techniques to manage their studies more effectively.

IPP continues to collaborate with institutions that focus on students’ overall growth and mental well-being.
