An organization that develops and promotes performance poetry/storytelling (spoken word) performance art and encourages freedom of expression in Pakistan

Spoken Stage aspires to create a community of poets and contemporary writers allowing them to display and share their work. We allow upcoming writers with opportunities, events and activities and help them explore the
endless potential of poetry as a mode of communication by providing a platform to encourage freedom of creative expression. Furthermore spoken stage explores the oral tradition of poetry, contemporarily known as ‘Spoken Word Poetry.’
Spoken Stage experiments with theatre, music and art to accompany the wrtiers’ work. Furthermore spoken stage hopes to erase boundaries and misconceptions by creating a platform allowing people to just speak.
