Hey! 🤍

You were never “too much.” You were just surrounded by people who confused depth with difficulty.

Overthinking? Maybe. But what if it’s actually over-feeling, the way your mind tries to make sense of a world that often doesn’t?

Deep thinkers tend to pause where others pass by. They dissect emotions, question existence, and crave conversations that go beyond “how was your day.”

Yes, your thoughts can get heavy. But peace isn’t found in silence, it’s built through understanding.

When you learn to listen to your mind instead of fighting it, even the chaos starts making sense.

So here’s your reminder:

Your depth isn’t your damage.

You're not broken for thinking deeply đź’ź

Together with my team from Danish-o-Ramish, we facilitated sessions at the Department of Visual Studies, University of Karachi, on the struggles of being an artist.

We explored how heightened sensitivity in artists can feel like both a blessing and a curse, and more importantly, how this energy can be channeled into meaningful expression.

I also highlighted the healing power of traditional arts and how many therapeutic practices eventually trace back to some form of artistic or creative expression.

The students were active and participative, making the dialogue even more engaging and meaningful! 🌸

There is no single definition of an artist, if you see deeply, feel intensely, and can shape those perceptions into any form of expression, you are already creating art.

Remember when it gets heavy, don't forget to channel it.

Do you think you also struggle with high sensitivity, if yes how are you are you handling it?

Sometimes we keep going without realizing how much we’re holding. There’s no time to pause, just the quiet strength to survive. And when it’s over, we feel the ache, the gratitude, and the hope that somehow kept us moving 🩵

Pain visits every life, but it shapes each of us differently. Some grow up with love as their anchor, while others learn to survive in its absence. One carries quiet resilience, the other fierce endurance. Yet both paths reveal strength.

Healing, I’ve learned, doesn’t always mean forgetting the hurt it means honoring it, learning from it, and letting it connect us more deeply to ourselves and to others.

She died alone, quietly decomposing while the world kept scrolling, her absence unnoticed. Not because she wasn’t someone, but because somewhere, we stopped being someone to each other. Her death didn’t just end a life, it exposed a truth we don't want to face: that in a world full of noise, a human being can vanish, and no one will ask. This isn’t just her story. It’s the haunting shape of ours.

May her soul rest in peace 🌸

People often say that empaths absorb others’ energy, but what’s really happening?

Psychology calls this “emotional contagion”, our natural tendency to mirror and even feel the emotions of those around us.

Carl Jung put it simply: “Emotions are contagious.”

As social beings, we unconsciously mimic others’ expressions and moods, leading to shared emotional experiences. So when Empaths say they feel what others feel, they’re not imagining it, it’s a real psychological phenomenon.

Now, here’s the big question for you.

Do you see it as a blessing, a curse, or both?

Ever felt nervous about what others think of you? Whether it’s speaking up in class, giving a presentation, or even posting online, that little voice saying “What if they judge me?” can be loud.

You’re probably doing way better than you think! The world is not judging you as hard as your mind is. Trust yourself. 💙

Ever wondered why you snap at loved ones after a bad day? Or why some people act overly nice to those they secretly dislike?

That’s your mind using defense mechanisms, psychological shields that protect you from uncomfortable emotions.

From denial (“This isn’t happening”) to projection (blaming others for what we feel), we all use them without realizing. Some help us cope, while others keep us stuck.

Which one do you relate to the most? Drop it in the comments!

Ever had someone say, “You’re a therapist! Why don’t you just give me a session?”

Or maybe you’ve tried to help a loved one, only to feel drained, frustrated, or helpless?

Here’s why therapy doesn’t work when you try it with people you know.
