🌱 Small Moments Matter 🌱
The heavy rains in Karachi and other cities are not just closing schools. They are quietly reshaping childhood.
When children stay indoors for days, they lose more than lessons. They lose play, friendships, routines and the sense of safety that helps them grow. Parents, already under financial and emotional strain, feel the pressure rise. And children absorb that stress deeply.
The first five years are the foundation of life. A cuddle, a story, a shared meal, these small moments are what build resilience and trust. When they disappear, childhood erodes silently.
But even in uncertain times, homes can become sanctuaries. Storytelling, play, laughter and gentle reassurance can protect children’s wellbeing. And parents, too, need care, because a calm caregiver is often a child’s only safe haven.
💠At The Buttercups- your wellbeing coach we ask: how can we protect these little but powerful moments for our children, even when the world outside feels unstable?
