*Important Update*
We have received an exceptionally enthusiastic response to this course, which clearly reflects the growing eagerness among anesthesiologists to learn and practice Regional Anesthesia. Despite its proven benefits, structured and specialized training opportunities in regional anesthesia remain limited, and in many settings it is still practiced in a restricted manner or through trial-and-error approaches.
The level of interest has been truly encouraging, with colleagues reaching out not only locally but also from Lahore, Faisalabad, and other distant regions to be part of this initiative.
In view of this strong response, we are enrolling senior and experienced faculty for the first course to ensure a comprehensive, in-depth, and high-quality learning experience. Following faculty meetings and academic discussions, it was also unanimously agreed that anesthesia residents must be given focused opportunities, as regional blocks constitute a significant component of examinations, and ultrasound scanning for blocks has now been incorporated into TOACS stations as well.
Therefore, in addition to the advanced course, we are pleased to announce that EMERGANEST is planning a Basic Regional Anesthesia Course exclusively for residents. This will be a four-month structured program, scheduled to be initiated in March (Insha’Allah).
Further details will be shared soon.
