Today on 26 sept 2025, the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Karachi organized a workshop on 'Basic Interpretation of ECG' at Karachi Central Hospital's Seminar Room in anticipation of World Heart Day.The workshop was attended by students from Dow Medical College, diabetologists, and consultant physicians. The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Central Council held a meeting today,August 31st,at PMA House in Karachi.The council discussed key issues outlined in the agenda, including:
* Doctors' Security Issues: Addressing the critical need for a safer working environment for medical professionals.
* PMDC Affairs: Important discussions regarding the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
* Official Reports: Confirmation of past meeting minutes, the Secretary General's report, and the Finance report were presented and reviewed.
Office Bearers from SINDH, PUNJAB, KPK and BALOCHISTAN attended the meeting.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue working on these important matters for the betterment of the medical community.
