Treatment for pediatric heart rhythm disorders is being provided free of cost at NICVD, with the support of the Sindh Government.

Over the past few years, hundreds of children have received care here, including procedures like pacemakers and electrophysiology studies that are usually very expensive.

If a child has fainting, breathing issues, irregular heartbeat, or unusual fatigue, don’t delay a check-up.

At NICVD, this treatment is being provided free of cost so every child can get the care they need.

پاکستان میں بچوں میں دل کی دھڑکن کی بے ترتیبی کا جدید علاج این آئی سی وی ڈی میں جاری ہے، جہاں ہزاروں بچے اس سہولت سے فائدہ اٹھا چکے ہیں۔

اگر بچے میں یہ علامات ہوں:
• دل کی تیز یا بے ترتیب دھڑکن
• سانس میں مسئلہ

• سینے میں درد یا تکلیف
• نچلے جبڑے یا گردن میں درد
• کمزوری، چکر آنا یا بیہوشی محسوس ہونا
• ایک یا دونوں بازوؤں یا کندھوں میں درد
• سانس لینے میں دشواری

اگر ان میں سے کوئی بھی علامت ظاہر ہو تو فوراً تاخیر کیے بغیر مریض کو این آئی سی وی ڈی منتقل کریں۔ بروقت علاج زندگی بچا سکتا ہے۔

National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD)

Since its inception in 1963, the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) has played a pivotal role in caring for patients with heart disease in Pakistan. NICVD is the first tertiary cardiac care institute in South Asia as well as the flagship facility for cardiology in Pakistan with a focus on superior care for patients, education and training for medical professionals, and research and development in cardiology.

NICVD caters to the cardiovascular needs of a vast majority of patients from all provinces of Pakistan as well as Afghan refugees and patients from other neighboring countries. It is responsible for training the bulk of local cardiac physicians, nurses and paramedics throughout the country.
