کراچی انسٹیٹیوٹ آف کڈنی ڈیزیزز ایسوسی ایشن میں ڈائیلاسز کے مریضوں کے علاج کے لیے انتہائی صاف اور معیاری پانی کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ ایک ڈائیلاسز سیشن کے دوران تقریباً 300 لیٹر پانی استعمال ہوتا ہے، جبکہ ادارے میں روزانہ 170 سے زائد ڈائیلاسز کیے جاتے ہیں۔

اسی بڑھتی ہوئی ضرورت کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے KIKDA میں ایک نیا آر او واٹر پلانٹ قائم کیا گیا ہے جس کی یومیہ گنجائش 60,000 لیٹر پانی ہے۔ یہ جدید نظام ڈائیلاسز یونٹ کے لیے صاف، محفوظ اور معیاری پانی کی مسلسل فراہمی کو یقینی بناتا ہے۔

یہ سہولت ڈائیلاسز کے مریضوں کے لیے نہایت اہم ہے کیونکہ صاف پانی کے بغیر محفوظ ڈائیلاسز ممکن نہیں۔ مخیر حضرات کے تعاون سے قائم کیا گیا یہ منصوبہ سینکڑوں مریضوں کی زندگی بچانے میں اہم کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔
