♿ Healthcare Without Barriers – Baldia Town Medical Camp 🚑
Inaccessible healthcare is one of the biggest challenges for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)—but we’re changing that.
On February 9, 2025, NOWPDP, in collaboration with Transparent Hands, organized a medical camp in Baldia Town, Karachi, ensuring that those who are often left behind got the medical care they deserve.
We didn’t just set up a camp; we made sure accessibility wasn’t an afterthought. With dedicated transport helping PWDs get to the location of the camp, we reached out to PWDs right at their doorstep, bringing them to the camp where they received free medical consultations, lab tests, and essential healthcare services.
📊 Key Impact:
✔ 714 individuals received medical consultations
✔ 230 PWDs were provided with essential healthcare
✔ 100 lab tests conducted
A huge thank you to Transparent Hands, Baldia Town administration, local NGOs, and community organizations for standing with us. Accessible healthcare isn’t a privilege—it’s a right. Together, we’re making it a reality.
