Shin splints slowing your run down? 🏃‍♀️⚠️

Pain along the shin during or after running is something many runners experience — especially with sudden increases in mileage, poor recovery, calf weakness, or training overload. 🌿

This reel is for awareness & movement education — not a medical diagnosis. ✨

If your shin pain keeps returning, feels tender to touch, worsens with running, or starts affecting your performance, it may be time for a proper assessment.

Ignoring shin pain early can eventually affect your running mechanics, recovery, and consistency. 👣

✔️ Strength training✔️ Load management✔️ Running mechanics✔️ Proper recovery✔️ Gradual progression

…all play a major role in shin splint management and prevention. 🤍

Save this before your next run & send it to your running partner 🏅

At the end of the day, this is why we do what we do. 💙

Physiotherapy isn’t just about exercises, repetitions, or “fixing” a joint. It’s about restoring Independence. Whether it’s a athlete returning to the Padel court, a mother picking up her child without pain, or a senior regainng the ability to walk unassisted—giving someone their independence back is the most powerful gift we can share.

At ARCH (Alignment, Restoration & Core Health), we don’t just measure success by range of motion, but by the life you get to live after you leave our doors.

To all the healers and PTs out there: Never forget the impact of your hands and your heart. You aren’t just treating symptoms; you’re changing lives. That is powerful. ✨

3 exercises every runner should add to their routine 🏃‍♀️🔥

Running alone isn’t enough if you want stronger strides, better endurance & fewer injuries. Strength work matters too. 🌿

✨ Wall Sit + Calf Raises 8-12 reps
Build calf strength & lower limb endurance for better push-off while running.

✨ Single-Leg Stand-Ups 6-10 reps each side
Improve balance, stability & single-leg control — essential for every runner.

✨ High Knees 6-10 reps each side
Wake up your running mechanics, coordination & hip drive while increasing heart rate before a run.

Add these into your routine 2–3x/week to run stronger, move better & recover smarter. 👣✨

Save this before your next run & send it to your running partner 🏅

Your run on 23rd May starts BEFORE your first step hits the road 🏃‍♀️🔥

If you want to run stronger, lighter & with less risk of injury… your warm-up matters more than you think. 🌿

Here’s a quick runner warm-up routine to wake up your hips, calves, hamstrings & running mechanics before race day:

✨ Hamstring Sweeps
✨ Open & Close the Gate
✨ Lunge & Rotate
✨ Pogos
✨ Butt Kicks
✨ Squat to Calf Raise

And yes — we intentionally kept the natural sound ON.
The footsteps. The breathing. The movement.
Because running isn’t always about music… sometimes the rhythm of your own body says enough. 👣✨

Save this before your next run & send it to your running partner for the 23rd May run 🏅

This test is commonly used in physiotherapy assessment to help identify possible meniscus involvement in the knee. 🦵🌿

While no single test can fully confirm a meniscus tear on its own, clinical tests combined with a proper subjective history, movement assessment, symptoms, and clinical reasoning can help guide diagnosis and treatment decisions. ✨

⚠️ Pain, clicking, locking, or discomfort during this movement may indicate the need for further assessment by a healthcare professional.

Remember:Special tests are tools — not final diagnoses. Evidence-based physiotherapy always looks at the full picture, not just one test. 🤍

Save this for knee education & send it to someone dealing with knee pain.

There was a time she could barely move her knee because of severe pain from osteoarthritis. Simple movements felt difficult, exhausting, and painful. 💔

But with consistency, guidance, and physiotherapy care, week by week… things started changing. 🌿

Today, seeing her walk again with her walker, smiling with confidence and comfort, reminds us that recovery is possible at every age. 🤍

Osteoarthritis doesn’t just affect the knee — it affects independence, confidence, and quality of life. And that’s why physiotherapy matters.

This Mother’s day, we celebrate strong mothers like her who continue showing up with courage every single day. ✨

A mother’s body goes through so much… carrying a child, sleepless nights, constant lifting, endless responsibilities — and still showing up every single day with love. 🤍

But somewhere between taking care of everyone else, many mothers stop listening to their own body. The back pain becomes “normal.”The neck stiffness gets ignored. The weakness, fatigue, and body aches become part of the routine.

This Mother’s day, we asked mothers and families to speak about something we often overlook:Mothers need care too. 🌿

These beautiful words and testimonials are a reminder that physiotherapy is not a luxury for mothers — it’s essential for their strength, movement, healing, and well-being.

To every mother:You deserve to feel strong. You deserve to move pain-free.And you deserve care too. ✨

Behind every strong family… there is a mother silently carrying so much. 🤍

This Mother’s day, we wanted to celebrate the strength, resilience, and healing journeys of the incredible mothers who trusted us with their care. 🌿

Between taking care of everyone else, many mothers ignore their own pain, body aches, posture changes, weakness, and exhaustion — until it starts affecting their everyday life.

These heartfelt words from our mother clients remind us that physiotherapy is not just about pain relief. It’s about helping mothers move better, feel stronger, heal confidently, and return to themselves again. ✨

To every mother reading this:Your health matters.Your recovery matters. And you deserve care too. 🤍
