Our Founder, Dr. Asher Hasan MD was in London last week attending the Managing Innovation for Impact Global Training Programme which focused on leveraging AI to enhance sustainable development outcomes.

The session brought together a cohort of 25 innovation leaders from around the world to the amazing Ashridge House. It was a week of immersive exercises, discussions, insightful activities, and networking - with plenty of laughter and fun moments too! The group explored applications of AI across various fields, critically examining its potential and pitfalls, and engaging in rigorous debates on ethics, equity, and responsible innovation.

Here’s what we delivered:

✅ Vital health messages to families with pregnant women that had upcoming deliveries, ensuring they are calm, informed and registered and we had visibility on any emergency situations
✅ Kept medical documentation centralized and ready, so no family was left searching for essentials
✅ Raised critical awareness on emergency supplies, first aid, and preparedness
✅ Monitored medicine delivery, refills, prescriptions for members with chronic health conditions or emergency requirements

At Naya Jeevan and doctHERs, alongside our signature healthcare programs, we offer education support to families of corporate blue-collar workers, helping them access tuition benefits. We focus on bridging educational gaps and ensuring access to quality education.

However, puberty becomes a significant risk factor for girls' dropout rates due to:

👉 Limited access to menstrual hygiene products
👉 Inadequate sanitation facilities (WASH)
👉 Lack of education and awareness about menstruation

These challenges can lead to girls missing school or dropping out altogether.

While we don't have all the answers, we work with families to help them navigate these real issues, and we are advocates for girls' education, menstrual hygiene awareness, and access to WASH facilities.

On Menstrual Hygiene Day, let's work together for a period-friendly world where every girl can thrive.
