💫 How NLP Changed My Ramadan
My Ramadan used to feel rushed.
Especially in the kitchen before iftar —
doing everything at once,
feeling irritation rise when something went wrong,
letting fatigue turn into frustration.
From the outside, everything looked normal.
Inside, I felt reactive.
I thought I needed more discipline.
What I actually needed… was awareness.
NLP taught me to notice my thoughts before reacting.
To catch emotions as they rise.
To pause before my tone shifts.
Now, if something goes wrong, I gently reframe it.
Instead of thinking,
“Everything is falling apart,”
I remind myself,
“This is just one moment.”
That small shift protects my peace.
Instead of overwhelming myself,
I’m choosing smaller, consistent steps -
in my prayers,
my ibadah,
my time with the Qur’an.
This Ramadan feels less pressured.
Less reactive.
More intentional.
More conscious.
And that has changed everything. ✨
Small inner shifts create meaningful change.
Do you think we need more discipline… or more awareness?
