Kinesiology Taping for Plantar Fasciitis 🦶
1. Purpose
Kinesiology taping helps to:
• Support the plantar fascia
• Reduce pain and inflammation
• Improve arch stability
• Facilitate healing and mobility
2. Materials Needed
• Kinesiology tape (elastic therapeutic tape)
• Scissors
• Clean, dry foot
3. Position

Step 2: Main Support Strip
• Cut a long strip from the ball of the foot to the heel.
• Stretch it 50–75% and apply along the plantar fascia (from the metatarsal heads to the heel).
• Rub gently to activate the adhesive.
Step 3: Heel to Arch Support
• Apply another I-strip from the inside of the heel wrapping around the medial arch.
• Stretch moderately (50%) to provide arch lift.
• Anchor without stretch on both ends.
Step 4: Lateral Support (Optional)
• Add a third strip from the outer heel to the lateral side of the forefoot for additional support.
5. Duration
