HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF MOTIVATED WHILE PREPARING FOR MDCAT?
Best Motivation for MDCAT exam Preparations
Feeling low? Sad or Depressed? While taking the MDCAT?
Well, it's very natural to feel anxious for not giving you the maximum and exhausted and feeling of being burned out for doing more than your capability at the same time. The reason is MDCAT a career-based Examination, which is held only once a year. The proportion of aspiring candidates is far more than the seats. Everyone has a different margin depending upon the marks already obtained in matric and Fsc. And on the cherry of the top is continuously changing policies on a nearly everyday basis by PMDC
and UHS. So, yes its very natural to be worried.
But thats not how you can give your Maximum. A player in a cricket ground can score not only 12 , but also ZERO out of the last 2 balls. It all just depends upon how he tackles the situation and what does he decide to take from the opportunity he has been given.
So, here are we, helping you to keep yourself on track. You just have to know that WE GOT YOU DUDE!
CONSISTENCY:
The first and foremost thing which is the key to success is Consistency. You can achieve anything if you are not letting the pressure compress you.
Remember, even one step forward daily WILL lead you somewhere. So even on your low days, keep ongoing. You'll definitely ace it.
FAMILY PRESSURE:
Most of the time, its not you who is getting anxiety attacks but your Family. They are in a try to motivate and push you, in turn, build an unseen mountain of responsibilities on your shoulders, which brings no good but only anxiety and tension.
To overcome this, you just have to ignore and keep going. Because things will settle, but this golden time won't come again.
PEER PRESSURE:
It's very natural to see and compare yourself to your friends. But this just brings a worry that gives you a feeling that you are not doing the best and this worry leads to failure, anxiety, and depression.
So, Never Ever Compare Yourself to anyone. Follow your own timetable that suits you in the best possible way. Yes, you should stay in touch with your friends, but just to keep yourself sane and to stay on track!
BEWARE OF DISTRACTIONS:
Yes, it's important to take some break to freshen up yourself, But try to stay away from distractions that just lead you to the wrong way. If something is not a break in your timetable and you haven't planned for it, and you are just doing it because it came in the way, Don't do this.
Gatherings, get-togethers, meetups can wait. But these golden hours won't come again.
So. Stay Focussed Peeps!
DISTRACTION AT COACHING CLASSES:
Most of the students at coaching classes and academies are seen to be so nonserious, just getting there to take a break from their daily study routine, meeting friends all chilled up, minds roaming in everything other than the syllabus and wasting their time and money for nothing. This is the worst you can do to yourself.
Try to stay focussed during the class by imagining yourself as the ONLY student sitting in the class and thinking that the teacher is just talking to YOU as one on one [ after the class, you can chit chat] and stay focussed on your tests and assessment.
OVERTHINKING:
Almost all distractions can be tackled except overthinking. The Human mind is something that is the least in our control. So, if you are struggling with this, try to put aside a specific time for it in a day and pend the thoughts to be reviewed in that specific part of the day and keep on studying. By the time you'll reach there, you'll realize that these things are not as important to ponder as you were thinking!
REST:
Taking some rest is like refreshing yourself to extract the maximum from you. Even a machine burns out if works non-stop. So, don't let yourself burn out in the first few days and being exhausted near the exam when you are supposed to give your the best.
Remember, Speed breakers are necessary to build momentum. And to Gear Up, you have to Slow Down a bit !
LOVE YOURSELF:
Last but not least, you are the most deserving person on this planet of your own love. Not getting what you wanted does not make you any lesser than anyone in this world. Everyone has their own time and share of Blessings. Professions are just something to keep life going, not life itself. Never let your own self down for anything.
PRAY AND ASK:
For mental peace, it's necessary to ask from Allah the best for you, giving your the maximum and then leaving it upon Him. You'll find comfort, where you least expected.
Say your prayers five times a day and thank Allah for HIS blessings. Pray tahajjud to ask Him the impossible and then wait to see the Miracle.
STAY CALM.
