Antibiotic Resistance in Pakistan
🚫High Priority Post:
✅Antibiotic resistance is developed as a result of overuse without indications.
✅Antibiotics work only for specific infections
✅Research has shown majority of common illnesses are viral in nanture and patients recover naturally with supportive measures
🛑 if someone keeps taking antibiotics for minor illnesses, the medications stop working for actual infection that would have been responsive to antibiotics otherwise 🛑
Please do not self medicate with antibiotics and consult your family physician for further advice
We at Abdul Rahim Medical Center promote No antibiotic until absolutely necessary to fight against antibiotics resistance.
Telemedicine services can be provided for more information

What is depression?
While we all feel sad, moody or low from time to time, some people experience these feelings intensely, for long periods of time (weeks, months or even years) and sometimes without any apparent reason. Depression is more than just a low mood; it is a serious condition that has an impact on both physical and mental health.
Depression is a constant feeling of sadness and loss of interest, which stops a person from doing routine activities. Different types of depression exist, with symptoms ranging from relatively minor to severe.
Common signs and symptoms to recognize depression in yourself or your loved ones are explained in the picture below!!!
Depression is often not recognized and can go on for long time if left untreated which can have many negative effects on a person's life, including serious relationships and family problems, difficulty finding and holding down a job, addiction problems and most importantly, suicidal ideas.
There is a range of effective treatments and health professionals who can help people to recovery. There are also many things that people with depression can do for themselves to help them recover and stay well. The important thing is to find the right treatment and the right health professional for a person's needs.
We at Abdul Rahim Medical Centre provide counselling services for depression. If you feel depressed, see your doctor; don't delay. If you see your loved one suffering from depression, ask for help for them. Seeking support early can help stop symptoms becoming worse.
Discrete appointments via Telemedicine can also be booked with Dr. Khadija Haris from Canada who has broad experience in counselling skills. Please contact us if you need help
