We at Abdul Rahim Medical Center were working on a project in the last couple of months; Opening an extension of our services to Jia Bagga Village with a approximate total population of over 100,000 people with minimal medical services available.

After receiving a huge response from public through free medical camps, we have now decided to do regular free clinics in Jia Bagga Village; Every other Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm. Special thanks to Mr. Manzoor for providing his home space for this noble cause and also Dr. Syed Ammad Saeed for giving a dedicated time for public service.

Free medications and physiotherapist services are also available for our patients.

Our mission is to promote patient-centered care targeting lifestyle modifications and non-pharmacological management before pharmacological approach.

Well done team ARMC and all the best!!

Antibiotic Resistance in Pakistan

🚫High Priority Post:

✅Antibiotic resistance is developed as a result of overuse without indications.

✅Antibiotics work only for specific infections

✅Research has shown majority of common illnesses are viral in nanture and patients recover naturally with supportive measures

🛑 if someone keeps taking antibiotics for minor illnesses, the medications stop working for actual infection that would have been responsive to antibiotics otherwise 🛑

Please do not self medicate with antibiotics and consult your family physician for further advice

We at Abdul Rahim Medical Center promote No antibiotic until absolutely necessary to fight against antibiotics resistance.

Telemedicine services can be provided for more information

If not type 1, diabetes and its complications are preventable with lifestyle modifications and early screenings.

Specially pre-diabetes is the area where non-pharmacological management can do wonders.
