Blood in Child’s Stool: Is it Piles (Bawaseer) or Something Else?
While adults often associate blood in stool with piles (hemorrhoids), this is quite rare in children. In pediatric cases, the causes are usually different and require specialized evaluation.
A**l Fissures: The most common cause in children. Hard stool from constipation causes a small tear in the lining of the a**s, leading to bright red blood on the surface of the stool.
Intestinal Polyps: Small, usually benign growths in the colon (Juvenile Polyps) can cause painless re**al bleeding. These often require a simple surgical procedure to remove.
