A Day of Wellness & Empowerment!

The Department of Pharmacognosy, LCWU, and Directorate Student Affairs, LCWU, joined forces with Pakistan Youth Welfare Association, Exito Group, and Dr. Essa Laboratory to bring you an unforgettable event!

Renowned experts shared invaluable insights on vital health topics:

Dr. Noor Fatima guided us through interactive posture correction sessions & stretches
Dr. Amir Ayub shed light on cervical cancer and hepatitis
Mr. Dawood Seraaj and Mr. Emran Ali shared their expertise
Dr. Kirat Salman emphasized the importance of healthy eating

A medical camp was also set up, attracting a huge turnout from LCWU students, staff, and faculty!

The International Pharmacy Council and Exhibition (IPCE) hosted an extraordinary three-day event that brought together trailblazers of the pharmacy world.
The speakers included our prestigious teachers who shared their knowledge In IPCE 2024.

⚕️.Prof. Dr. Humeira Majeed captivated the audience with her insightful session on "Medication Safety: Global Patient Safety Plan," emphasizing the critical role of pharmacists in protecting patient health.
⚕️Dr. Ali Sharif from LCWU delivered an engaging talk on “Genotoxicity and Drug Discovery: A Way Forward in Pharmaceutical Research,” listing directions for drug development.
⚕️Dr.Saira Kamran shared the potential of piperine gel on wound heal in hyperglycemic rat model .
⚕️Dr.Muhammad Tanveer Khan shared the study of tissue and cell architecture of Diospyros Montana under microscope.
⚕️Dr.Adeel Arshad shared his research about Heliotropium crispum Desf. for chemical analysis , biological evaluation and molecular docking studies .
⚕️Dr.Arham shared his research about regulating immune response by targeting cyto kines released from helper T cells subtypes in experimental models of rheumatoid and allergic asthma.
⚕️Dr. Muhammad Salman threw light on the current status of pharmacy education in Pakistan their challenges and future prospects
⚕️Dr Hafsa Afzal shared her scientific research about Co crystallization progresses physio-mechanical attributes and pharmacokinetics of aceclofenac.
⚕️Dr. Sumera latif shared her research about the development of Nano sized Quercetin-Vitamin C Co crystal of modulated solubility,anti-oxidant activity and cytotoxicity.
⚕️Dr.Mobina Manzoor told the members of IPCE about Ocicum as a new tool for solubility and dissolution enhancer for BCS class 2 drugs.
