*Update Regarding Aftab's Health:*
Aftab is doing well Alhamdo Lillah and here is the update regarding his health and the all the process he went through in last 5 months. Aftab was treated with Horse ATGs (Anti Thymocyte Globulins) as per our treatment plan. He received Horse ATGs on 19th of September 2022. He remained admitted in Shifa International Hospital during the process and rest of the protocol was followed. During his stay in hospital he also suffered from Dengue Fever. It was hard but Alhamdo Lillah with your support and prayers Aftab fought well and it went fine in the end. He was admitted in Shifa International Hospital for 1 month after receiving Horse ATG treatment. Transfusions were done as per requirement. Last megaunits were transfused on 19th of October 2022 and last PRBCs ware transfused on 1st of November 2022. After that he gradually started improving clinically and even his blood counts started to improve as well. And I would like to thank all the members of transfusion team for arranging the donors and making them available whenever transfusion was required. I would like to thank all the donors who came to help me in such a hard time.
I am happy to announce that Aftab is doing fine till now and he responded well to the treatment. We will observe him for 6 months because some of the medications have been stopped due to the side effects.
Almost 5 months ago (when Aftab was being treated with Horse ATGs), no donor was available for MUD transplant. Professor Dr Ayyaz Mir kept on searching for the donors in those countries where Registeries were available. Dr Ayyaz Mir found an International Donor for MUD transplant. We would have to go for MUD transplant in case of following scenarios:
1. If relapse occurs
2. If Clonal Evolution to some other Disease (PNH, MDS/AML etc) occurs.

Currently Aftab is doing fine. He is experiencing some side effects from the drugs he used in this time span but they are under control. Now he is just taking Prednisolone 20mg daily. All other medications have been stopped. Recent Complete blood picture report is attached.
