📉 The 2025 federal health budget was slashed by 16%.
That’s not just a number — it’s a crisis for women’s health.

In a country where women with PCOS already struggle for diagnosis, treatment, and basic awareness, this cut sends a clear message: our health isn’t a priority.

Less funding means:
⚠️ Fewer diagnostic facilities
⚠️ No outreach or education programs
⚠️ Longer wait times & rising costs
⚠️ Zero investment in reproductive & chronic care

PCOS affects millions of Pakistani women. Most are told to suffer silently. And now, even public healthcare is being stripped away.

At PCOS Helps, we’re demanding:
📌 Reversal of the budget cut
📌 Restoration of development funding
📌 Prioritization of hormonal & reproductive health
📌 Govt-led awareness + care for PCOS

This is about justice. It’s about every girl who’s ever been told her pain is “normal.” Every woman denied answers.

🗣️ Speak up. Share. Tag your reps. Demand better.
Because silence won’t save us — action will.

PCOS, Infertility & Domestic Violence — A Hidden Crisis

Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the leading causes of infertility among women — but what we rarely talk about is the violence that follows.

📊 A study by Aga Khan University revealed that 64% of infertile women in Karachi reported facing domestic violence, with 23% experiencing physical abuse. The abusers? Often husbands and in-laws.

Women with PCOS already battle hormonal imbalances, mental health struggles, and social stigma. Add infertility to the mix — and it becomes a trigger for emotional, verbal, and physical abuse behind closed doors.

💬 When reproductive health becomes a reason for violence, it’s no longer just a medical issue —
👉 It’s a human rights issue.
👉 It’s a gender justice issue.

🟣 Let’s raise our voices for women with PCOS.
🛑 Let’s end the violence.
📢 Let’s fight the stigma — together.
