A Talk with Probationers at Session Courts Lahore, March 25, 2025
The Probationers being the common persons from the community and having committed MINOR CRIME for the FIRST TIME are supposed to pay attendance at the office of Probation Officer of the PUNJAB PROBATION AND PAROLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT on monthly basis for Counselling/ General Awareness Sessions so as to improve their attitude and behavior towards the norms of the community. Their assessment leading to the satisfaction of the Probation Officer results in the end of the observatory period and they are sent back to their social circle.
Mr. Waqas Watto, Probation Officer Session Courts Lahore with the co-operation of the District Population Welfare Officer Lahore organized a TALK with the PROBATIONERS on 25th January 2025 at Session Courts Lahore.
Ms. Nousheen Rasheed Probation Officer was also present during the activity. This activity was conducted as a result of collaboration of POPULATION WELFARE DEPARTMENT PUNJAB with the PUNJAB PROBATION AND PAROLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT with reference to the MOU signed by both the Departments at Directorate General Level.
Dr. M. Amjad Ramzan from Men Advisory Training Center Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore conducted the session. The topic of the session was PLANNING FOR HEALTHY FAMILY AND MENTAL HEALTH. A total number of 25 probationers attended the session. The participants (Probationers) took keen interest for planning of the Healthy and Happy Family. The most important aspect of the activity was that probationers actively participated in the discussion and promised to disseminate the messages.
