Official Statement from the UCH Supporters Regarding the Restoration of United Christian Hospital (UCH)
We are issuing this statement to address the ongoing, malicious, and unfounded attacks being levied against the legitimate leadership and administration of the United Christian Hospital (UCH), specifically on social media platforms.
1. The Fight for UCH Restoration
Our primary and singular focus is the restoration of the United Christian Hospital. The UCH is a vital community asset and a historic institution belonging to the Church and the people of Pakistan. Our efforts are dedicated to bringing the hospital back to full operational status for the service of the community.
2. Addressing the Accusations and Illegal Activities
We unequivocally condemn and reject the actions of individuals identified as land grabbers and illegal occupants who are attempting to destabilize the hospital's governance for personal gain.
• The Alleged Instigators: We note the long-standing, active role of individuals (allegedly supported by their "front men" and their associates, who allegedly aim to unlawfully seize or dismantle Church and hospital assets. Their alleged history of involvement in attempting to sell Church properties is a matter of public record and grave concern for the Christian community.
• The Social Media Campaign: The recent surge in hostile, abusive, and divisive content on social media, often featuring individuals like Prevaiz Roshan (allegedly operating from Thailand), and people from UK is a clear attempt to disrupt the legitimate efforts of the UCH administration. These attacks are a direct indicator that the legal governing body is moving forward effectively with the hospital's restoration.
• The Motive is Illicit: Their consistent pattern of disruption—becoming "active on social media" and in the courts whenever a legal administrator is appointed—confirms their motive is not the hospital's well-being but to maintain an environment where they can illegally sell UCH property.
3. The Legitimacy of the Current Leadership
The UCH governing body is operating with full legal authority. Our appointments, including that of the Administrator, are necessary steps to protect the hospital’s assets and initiate the restoration process. We uphold the resignation of Mr. Anthony Lamuel as former Chairman in 2024 and stand by the subsequent, legal steps taken to solidify governance.
A Call to the Christian Community and the Public
We humbly and urgently request every member of the Church and the community to stand with us:
• Face Them on Social Media: Do not let their lies and abusive language go unchallenged. We ask true Christians to actively counter the narratives of these "black sheep" online.
• Expose the Truth: We urge the public, especially those with access to media platforms, to create video podcasts and discussions that focus on the documented history of these individuals and their attempts to illegally dispose of UCH and other Church properties. Expose these culprits who only become active when a legitimate board or administrator is appointed.
• Support the Restoration: By defending the legitimate UCH administration, you are defending the community’s right to its own hospital.
The UCH belongs to the Community, and we will face and fight these illegal activities and their social media proxies with the truth and the full weight of the law.
یونائیٹڈ کرسچن اسپتال (یو سی ایچ) کی بحالی کے حوالے سے یو سی ایچ کے حامیوں کا سرکاری بیان
ہم یہ بیان اس لیے جاری کر رہے ہیں تاکہ یو سی ایچ (United Christian Hospital) کی جائز قیادت اور انتظامیہ کے خلاف جاری بدنیتی پر مبنی، بے بنیاد اور شرانگیز حملوں کا جواب دیا جا سکے، خصوصاً سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز پر۔
1۔ یو سی ایچ کی بحالی کی جدوجہد
ہمارا بنیادی اور واحد مقصد یو سی ایچ کی بحالی ہے۔ یو سی ایچ کمیونٹی کا ایک قیمتی اثاثہ اور تاریخی ادارہ ہے جو کلیسیا اور پاکستان کے عوام کی ملکیت ہے۔ ہماری تمام تر کوششیں اس اسپتال کو مکمل طور پر فعال بنانے اور کمیونٹی کی خدمت کے لیے بحال کرنے پر مرکوز ہیں۔
2۔ الزامات اور غیر قانونی سرگرمیوں کا جواب
ہم واضح طور پر ان افراد کی کارروائیوں کی مذمت اور تردید کرتے ہیں جو زمین پر قبضہ کرنے والے اور غیر قانونی قابضین ہیں اور ذاتی مفاد کے لیے اسپتال کے نظام کو غیر مستحکم کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔
• مبینہ کردار: ہم ان افراد کے طویل عرصے سے جاری فعال کردار کو نوٹ کرتے ہیں جن کے بارے میں کہا جاتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے ’’فرنٹ مین‘‘ اور ساتھیوں کے ذریعے کلیسیا اور اسپتال کے اثاثوں پر غیر قانونی قبضہ یا انہیں ختم کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔ چرچ کی جائیدادوں کو بیچنے کی ان کی مبینہ تاریخ عوامی ریکارڈ پر ہے اور یہ مسیحی برادری کے لیے انتہائی تشویش کا باعث ہے۔
• سوشل میڈیا مہم: حالیہ دنوں میں سوشل میڈیا پر اشتعال انگیز، گالی گلوچ پر مبنی اور تقسیم پیدا کرنے والا مواد بڑھ گیا ہے، جس میں اکثر ایسے افراد شامل ہیں جیسے پرویز روشن (جو مبینہ طور پر تھائی لینڈ سے سرگرم ہیں) اور برطانیہ میں مقیم لوگ۔ یہ تمام سرگرمیاں یو سی ایچ انتظامیہ کی جائز کوششوں کو سبوتاژ کرنے کی ایک واضح کوشش ہیں۔ ان حملوں سے یہ بات ظاہر ہوتی ہے کہ قانونی گورننگ باڈی اسپتال کی بحالی کے عمل کو کامیابی سے آگے بڑھا رہی ہے۔
• غیر قانونی مقاصد: ان کا مستقل رویہ—یعنی ہر بار جب قانونی ایڈمنسٹریٹر تعینات ہوتا ہے تو سوشل میڈیا اور عدالتوں میں متحرک ہو جانا—اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ ان کا مقصد اسپتال کی بہتری نہیں بلکہ یو سی ایچ کی جائیداد کو غیر قانونی طور پر فروخت کرنے کے حالات پیدا کرنا ہے۔
3۔ موجودہ قیادت کی قانونی حیثیت
یو سی ایچ گورننگ باڈی مکمل قانونی اختیار کے ساتھ کام کر رہی ہے۔ ہمارے فیصلے، بشمول ایڈمنسٹریٹر کی تقرری، اسپتال کے اثاثوں کے تحفظ اور بحالی کے عمل کو آگے بڑھانے کے لیے ضروری اقدامات ہیں۔ ہم 2024 میں مسٹر انتھونی لیموئیل کے سابق چیئرمین کی حیثیت سے استعفیٰ کو تسلیم کرتے ہیں اور اس کے بعد اٹھائے گئے تمام قانونی اقدامات کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں۔
کلیسیا اور عوام کے نام اپیل
ہم نہایت عاجزی اور فوری طور پر کلیسیا اور کمیونٹی کے ہر فرد سے اپیل کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ہمارے ساتھ کھڑے ہوں:
• سوشل میڈیا پر مقابلہ کریں: ان کے جھوٹ اور گالی گلوچ کو بے جواب نہ چھوڑیں۔ ہم سچے مسیحیوں سے درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ان ’’کالی بھیڑوں‘‘ کے بیانیے کو آن لائن رد کریں۔
• سچ کو بے نقاب کریں: ہم عوام سے، خصوصاً میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز تک رسائی رکھنے والوں سے اپیل کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ویڈیو پوڈکاسٹ اور مباحثے کریں جن میں ان افراد کی دستاویزی تاریخ اور ان کی یو سی ایچ اور دیگر کلیسیائی جائیدادوں کو غیر قانونی طور پر بیچنے کی کوششوں کو اجاگر کیا جائے۔ ان عناصر کو بے نقاب کریں جو صرف اس وقت متحرک ہوتے ہیں جب کوئی قانونی بورڈ یا ایڈمنسٹریٹر تعینات ہوتا ہے۔
• بحالی کی حمایت کریں: یو سی ایچ کی جائز انتظامیہ کا دفاع کرنے کا مطلب کمیونٹی کے اپنے اسپتال کے حق کا دفاع کرنا ہے۔
یو سی ایچ کمیونٹی کی ملکیت ہے، اور ہم ان غیر قانونی سرگرمیوں اور ان کے سوشل میڈیا ایجنٹوں کا مقابلہ سچائی اور قانون کی مکمل طاقت کے ساتھ کریں گے۔
