How to perform Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of your parents:

1. Types of Sadaqah Jariyah:

Building water well:

Providing clean drinking water is a highly beneficial act of charity that can benefit communities for generations.

Donating to a mosque:

Contributing to the construction, maintenance, or upkeep of a mosque, where people perform prayers and learn about Islam, is a great way to earn reward.

Planting trees:

Planting trees, especially fruit trees, provides sustenance for people and wildlife, and the trees will continue to bear fruit for years to come.

Donating to an orphanage or school:

Supporting the education or well-being of children is a noble act that can have a lasting impact.

Creating farmland:

Establishing farmland can provide food for communities and a source of income for people.

Teaching a valuable skill:

Sharing knowledge or skills with others can help them improve their lives and livelihoods.

Donating books:

Providing religious books or other valuable materials can benefit many people.

Building a hospital or clinic:

Providing healthcare services can save lives and improve the quality of life for many people.

2. Intention and Dedication:

Have the intention to please Allah:

Ensure your actions are solely for the sake of Allah and not for worldly gain or recognition.

Dedicate the act to your parents:

When giving Sadaqah Jariyah, make it clear that you are doing so on behalf of your parents, seeking their benefit in the hereafter.

Make Du'a:

After performing Sadaqah Jariyah, make a sincere Du'a (supplication) to Allah to accept the act and grant your parents blessings.

3. Examples of Hadith:

When a person dies, his good deeds cease, except for three: a standing charity, or knowledge that is beneficial, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)

✨ Ramadan Kareem ✨

اللّٰہ سبحان تعالٰی نے اپنی الہٰمی کتاب قران نورِ ہدایت میں فرمایا ہے:

✨ وَ فِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ؕ اَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ✨

قرآن کی روشنی ہدایت دیتی ہے:

آسمانوں کو بروج سے زینت بخشی دیکھنے والوں کیلئے۔ اور اس زینت کو چھپا لیا شیطان مردود سے۔ (سورۃ المُلک – 5)

قرآن یہ بھی کہتا ہے:

اللہ انسان کی جان سے اقرب ہے۔
(سورۃ ق – 16)

اقرب سے مراد اتنی قربت کہ جس کو ملی میٹر Millimeter میں بھی بیان نہیں کیا جاسکتا․․․․․

قرآن پاک میں اللہ تعالی فرما تے ہیں․․․․

اللہ تمہارے اندر ہے ۔ تم اللہ کو دیکھتے کیوں نہیں (سورۃ الذّاریات – 21)

یہ مقدس آیتیں اس بات کا ثبوت فراہم کرتی ہیں کہ علم دو ہیں․․․․

✨ ایک علم وہ ہے جو ہمیں آنکھوں سے نظر آتا ہے

✨ اور ایک باطنی علم ہے جو ہمیں روح کی آنکھ سے نظر آتا ہے۔

جن حضرات نے علماءِ باطن کے سلیس کے مطابق باطنی علوم سیکھے، انہوں نے ان تمام چیزوں سے کنارہ کر لیا جو اس راہ میں رکاوٹ بن سکتی تھیں․․․․․ اس طرح ان کا ذہنی، قلبی اور روحانی رابطہ اللہ اور اللہ کے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ قائم رہا․․․․

قرآن کہتا ہے:

جو لوگ ہماری راہ میں جدو جہد کرتے ہیں۔ ہم ان پر اپنی راہیں کھول دیتے ہیں۔
(سورۃ العنکبوت – 69)

جب ان لوگوں پر عرفانِ نفس اور معرفتِ الٰہی کے دروازے کھل گئے تو انہیں روحانی اِدراک اور مشاہدات کی نعمتیں میسر آئیں۔

"من عرف نفسہ فقد عرف ربہ"

صَلَّى اللهُ تعالٰی عَلَىٰ حَبِيبِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ وَسَلَّمْ

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
القرآن: (سورہ النبیاء - 107)
After all, the mission of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was described by Allah SWT as follows,
"O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness (Shahid) and a bringer of good tidings (Basheer) and a warner (Nazeer). And one who invites towards Allah (Daee), by His permission, and an illuminating lamp (Sirajan Munira)"
[Al-Ahzab 33:45-46].

Prophet Muhammad was a beacon of hope for those around him. His ever-beaming smile would exude optimism. His words, whether of warning or of good news, inspired positive action.

مکہ بحیثیت مرکز
دنیا کے مختلف شہروں، گاؤں اور گوٹھوں میں دیوی دیوتاؤں کی پرستش کی لئے بت کدے اور بڑے بڑے مندر موجود تھے۔ سورج چاند اور ستاروں کی پوجا کے لئے وسیع و عریض ہیکل تھے لیکن کوئی عبادت خانہ ایسا نہیں تھا جسے ایک مرکز کی حیثیت حاصل ہو۔

’’ہم نے اس گھر کو تمام انسانوں کے لئے مرکز اور امن کی جگہ قرار دے دیا۔‘‘

(البقرہ: ۱۲۸)

بیت اللہ شریف کسی خاص قبیلے، قوم یا کسی خاص مذہب کے ماننے والوں کے لئے مرکز نہیں ہے۔ پوری توحید پرست انسانی برادری کے لئے اسے مرکز بنایا گیا ہے۔

مکہ کرہ ارض کے تقریباً وسط میں واقع ہے۔ اسی وجہ سے مکہ کو زمین کی ناف کہتے ہیں۔

مکہ طول میں تقریباً ۳ کلومیٹر اور عرض میں آدھا کلومیٹر ہے۔ وادی مکہ شمالاً جنوباً دو پہاڑی سلسلوں میں گھری ہوئی ہے۔ یہ پہاڑ مشرق، مغرب اور جنوب یعنی شہر کے تینوں دروازوں پر قریب قریب باہم مل جاتے ہیں۔

قدیم زمانے میں شہر میں داخل ہونے اور باہر جانے کے لئے صرف تین راستے تھے۔

پہاڑوں کی قدرتی ترتیب شہر پناہ کا کام دیتی ہے۔

یہ شہر خشک پہاڑوں سے گھرا ہوا ہے۔ جن کی بلندی ۲۰۰ سے ۶۰۰ فٹ تک ہے۔ مکہ سطح سمندر سے ۳۳۰ میٹر بلندی پر واقع ہے۔ سردیوں میں ۲۵ ڈگری سینٹی گریڈ اور گرمیوں میں ۵۰ ڈگری سینٹی گریڈ تک درجہ حرارت ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے۔ سردیوں میں معمولی سردی اور گرمیوں میں سخت گرمی ہوتی ہے۔ اوسط ًدرجہ حرارت ۳۵ ڈگری سینٹی گریڈ رہتا ہے۔ دن رات عموماً برابر وقفے پر مشتمل ہوتے ہیں۔ زیادہ سے زیادہ نصف گھنٹے کا فرق ہوتا ہے۔

امیر حج

حج ۹ ہجری میں فرض ہوا۔ سیدنا حضور علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام نے حضرت ابو بکر صدیقؓ کو امیر حج مقرر کر کے صحابہ کرام کو مکہ معظمہ بھیجا۔ جبرئیل امین وحی لے کرآئے اور سورۃ توبہ کی ابتدائی ۴۰ آیتیں نازل ہوئیں۔ سیدنا حضور علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام نے حضرت علیؓ کو مکہ معظمہ روانہ کیا اور احکامات الٰہی حاجیوں کے اجتماع میں پڑھ کر سنائے گئے۔ اس موقع پر مشرکین کا داخلہ مسجد الحرام میں بند کر دیا گیا۔

’’اے ایمان والو! مشرکین ناپاک ہیں لٰہذا اس سال کے بعد یہ مسجد الحرام کے قریب پھٹکنے نہ پائیں۔‘‘

(سورۃ التوبہ۔ ۲۸)

✨ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کو خدا کا دیدار ہوا۔

خدا نے اپنے پیارے نبیﷺ سے کہا۔
’’مانگیئے!‘‘

حضور علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام نے یہ دعا مانگی۔

’’اے خدا! میں تجھ سے نیک کاموں کی توفیق چاہتا ہوں اور برے کاموں سے بچنے کی قوت چاہتا ہوں اور مسکینوں کی محبت چاہتا ہوں اور کہ تو میری مغفرت فرما دے اور مجھ پر رحم فرما اور جب تو کسی قوم کو عذاب میں مبتلا کرنا چاہے تو مجھے اس حال میں اٹھا لے کہ میں اس سے محفوظ رہوں اور میں تجھ سے تیری محبت کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور اس شخص کی محبت کا سوال کرتا ہوں جو تجھ سے محبت کرتا ہے اور اس عمل کی توفیق چاہتا ہوں جو تیرے قرب کا ذریعہ ہے۔‘‘
