"On behalf of the Islamic Republic of Ir+an, I express gratitude and appreciation for my dear brothers HE Prime Minister of Pakistan Sharif and HE Field Marshal Munir for their tireless efforts to end the w-ar in the region.

In response to the brotherly request of PM Sharif in his tweet, and considering the request by the U.S. for negotiations based on its 15-point proposal as well as announcement by POTUS about acceptance of the general framework of Iran’s 10-point proposal as a basis for negotiations, I hereby declare on behalf of Ira-n’s Supreme National Security Council:

If atta-cks against Ira-n are halted, our Powerful Armed Forces will cease their defensive operations.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urges all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve a conclusive termination of the Iran war.

Israel has also agreed to the ceasefire deal between the United States and Iran after more than six weeks of conflict in the Middle East, a White House official said Tuesday.

Israel did not immediately react to the ceasefire announcement. Its assault on Lebanon in response to rocket fire by Iranian-backed Hezbollah has led to more than 1,500 deaths, according to Lebanese authorities.

Pakistan said that the United States, Iran and their allies had agreed to a ceasefire "everywhere," including Lebanon, following mediation by Islamabad.
