Dr. Abdus Salam Sheikh born on 9 November 1935, started early in his career as a professor at the renowned prestigious institution of Forman Christian College after completing his M.S.c from the same. His students at F.C college like Gen. Rt Pervaiz Musharaf, Group Capt. Cecil Chaudhry (1965 war Hero Pak Airforce), Chaudhry Ahmed Saeed (Chairman Service Group of Industries), Chaudhry Ilyas (Chairman Haleeb Limited) describe him as a hard working teacher who never cared for anything when it was matter of his students. He joined PCSIR Laboratories after few years. He did his Ph.D from Australia on scholarship. Rejecting all tempting foreign offers he came back to Pakistan. Few years later he went to Japan for his Post Doctorate Diploma. He rejoined as researcher at PCSIR Laboratories. He also represented Pakistan is SAARC conference of 1992 at Dhaka and in UN in Tokyo. During the time he also completed his Homeopathic Medical course with distinction securing a Gold medal. He started practising as Homeopathic Physician. At his lab he was well known for his honesty and integrity. After retiring as senior scientist he started teaching Homeopathy at Pakistan Homeopathic Medical College. From then he dedicated his life solely for the purpose of curing humanity. As a Doctor he served at his clinic for 32 years where he treated all poor along with people suffering from Cancer, Tuberculosis and kidney failure absolutely free. He was known as someone who was bestowed by Almighty with Shifa (The power to heal). Those who knew him closely, knew him as a patriotic man who was also free from desire of worldly possessions. The soul purpose of his being was to serve humanity in his own silent way.

After serving society in many different roles and leaving his mark on every of them, the beloved of thousands met peacefully his beloved Creator on 1 September 2011. May his soul rest in Eternal Peace, Ameen. His mission will live on under the label of Dr. Abdus Salam Sheikh Humanity Services
