PROF DR SHAMSA HUMYUN & Alot of guests from other hospitals
Focusing on the importance of few "ME time" inspite of all the busy routine,
Workshop included the lectures by worthy professors and alot of healthy activities to deal with the stress

*PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP ON UPDATES IN GYNAECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY*
A pre-scientific conference workshop on "Updates in Gynaecological Oncology" was conducted by the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics Unit 4 and the Department of Oncology SGRH/FJMU under the dynamic supervision of
* Prof. Dr. Amna Zia Eusaph, HOD,Gynae Unit 4,
*Associate Professor Dr. Saif ur Rehman, HOD Oncology, SGRH.
The role of the transvaginal scan in the detection of gynaecological pathologies was discussed by *Dr.Arooj under the kind supervision of Prof. Mahjabeen Masood, HOD Radiology, SGRH.
An informative presentation along with hands-on training on the difference between conventional cervical screening and liquid-based cytology was presented by
*Dr. Aima, a consultant histopathologist at Chughtai Laboratories.
The esteemed Vice Chancellor,FJMU,Prof. DR Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamgha e Imtiaz & Presidential Pride of Performance), graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Prof. Dr. Noreen Akmal, Principal FJMC, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kamran Khalid Khwaja, Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir, Chairperson, Department of Medicine, Dr. Sohail Arshad, Medical Superintendent SGRH also attended the workshop.
A total of 71 participants from the Gynaecology, Oncology, and Radiology Departments, students, and nursing staff attended the workshop. There were four hands-on training stations.1. Pap Smear 2. Pipelle Sampling 3. Liquid-Based Cytology and Microscopic View of Slides. 4. Transvaginal Scan.
