Brief history of Baloch council
GEDAAN
History of Baloch council (UET LAHORE) dates back to 2003 and its pioneers include few Uetians and Ravians (GC univ). Few names I know are; Gohram Baloch and NOWSHERWAN BALOCH (both UETIANs). These guys laid the foundation of "GEDAAN". Thought behind its creation was to bring all Baloch students in Lahore at one platform so that they can help each other and to make efforts to bring more students from Balochistan so that the education standards there in Balochistan can be uplifted. They held some meetings , and sent some pamphlets to colleges and schools in Balochistan about different colleges and universities in Punjab and other provinces and their efforts bore fruit in the coming years as number of Baloch Students in Punjab increased surprisingly. BOLAN
After the historical success of GEDAAN, number of Baloch students in few Universities grew big and it became difficult for organizers of Gedaan to continue with the same setup, so it was decided to form councils for different universities, so according to this decision Gedaan was dissolved and in UET Lahore, it was later replaced by BOLAN which included students from all over Balochistan and included Baloch Pashtoons and others.... Its first Chairman/President was NOWSHERWAN BALOCH


BSO

Due to some conflicts, BOLAN couldnt last long and in 2005 it was dissolved once again and followed the formation of BSO which included Baloch students only. it was quite a success for almost 5 years until Baloch Council was formed

BALOCH COUNCIL ( UET LAHORE)
BSO was quite successful in UET, but the problem was with its name, although it was totally non-political but still boys felt uncomfortable under its name, as politics is totally banned in the University. So to remove the concerns of the boys and not to be taken as political, it was decided unanimously in the presence of all the members , it was decided to dissolve BSO and form BALOCH COUNCIL with few amendments in its policy

In Oct-2011 (2009,2010,2011 Session of UET Lahore) Laid the foundation of Baloch Council UET Lahore with a new organizational setup. The name was later updated to "Baloch Students Council UET Lahore" in 2021 by the then 2020-21 Cabinet and Executives. Baloch Council started with full sincerity of its members hope we can fulfill what we promised to each other and to our Nation

Important Announcement for BE (Engineering) Candidates (96 Reserved Seats – Balochistan)

The Directorate of Colleges, Balochistan has announced the interview schedule for BE (Engineering) admissions under the 96 Reserved Seats quota.

All candidates who appeared in the entry test are hereby informed to appear for the interview as per the given schedule. Candidates must bring their original documents (DMC and Local/Domicile Certificate) at the time of interview.

1. Prospectus is available on our admission portal: i.e., admission.uet.edu.pk.
2. The admission process will start from July 21, 2025. The applicant needs to log on to our admission portal via a token on payment of Rs.2500/-. The token number can be obtained in two ways:
(a) through HBL online banking if you are an HBL account holder, or
(b) through HBL KONNECT if you are not an HBL account holder. In either case the token number is your challan number, which is
