Let’s be real today.
This is my weight progress trend for the past 3 months. I’m sure many of you will relate to this.
Just look at how much my weight fluctuated (MIND YOU I HAVE PCOS AND HYPOTHYROIDISM).
I’ve been trying to shift to a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle and let me tell you, it’s not easy. Some days feel so mentally exhausting that I almost give up.
But I pick myself back up. Again and again.
I’ve come down from 71.2kg to 69.3kg (you can see the exact numbers in the chart). And for the past month, I’ve simply maintained that weight.
The reason I’m sharing this is because so many people set such unrealistic expectations like dropping a kg weekly. 🫣
And when things don’t go exactly as planned, they quit.
So what should we do?
Shift your lifestyle.
This past month, I didn’t actively try to lose more weight. But I did focus on eating in controlled portions so even if I didn’t lose, at least I didn’t gain.
You need to create a long-term plan and take it one step at a time.
Starting today, I’m getting back to consciously working on my weight loss. I’ll be sharing my meals and updates on and off through stories.
Let’s see where I stand a month from now.
