Health & Education Foundation In this area, which comprise approximately 85 underdeveloped communities with a population of about 2.5 million.

Health & Education Foundation (H&EF) Lahore’s mission is to produce highly skilled medical professionals and to address the healthcare needs of underprivileged communities, particularly in the southern region of Lahore and District Kasur. Their access to healthcare is a critical issue which is being addressed by H&EF. We are dedicated to uplifting the healthcare and education sectors in Pakistan.

Our efforts encompass running various healthcare facilities like the Central Park Teaching Hospital and educational institutions, such as Central Park Medical College (CPMC), Central Park College of Nursing, and Central Park College of Allied Health Sciences. Central Park Teaching Hospital (CPTH) is a 600-bed state-of-the-art tertiary care facility, equipped with the most modern medical equipment, serves as a beacon of hope for these communities. Providing free medical consultations, diagnostics, in-patient care (including surgeries), and medications to all deserving patients. However, sustaining these essential services comes with a significant financial burden. Annually, we face a deficit of over 300 million, which we struggle to cover without external support.

The Department of Urology, Central Park Teaching Hospital successfully organized a Hands-On Workshop on Safe Foley Catheterization. The workshop focused on enhancing practical clinical skills and promoting patient safety through evidence-based catheterization techniques.

Participants received comprehensive hands-on training covering safe Foley catheter insertion, prevention of catheter-related complications, review of urethral anatomy, and identification of important urological red flags.

The workshop was conducted under the expert supervision of Prof. Dr. Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Head of Department of Urology, CPTH, with active participation from doctors, trainees, and healthcare professionals.
