Epilepsy is a common condition that affects the brain and causes frequent seizures. Seizures are bursts of electrical activity in the brain that temporarily affect how it works. They can cause a wide range of symptoms. Epilepsy can start at any age, but usually starts either in childhood or in people over 60.

Epilepsy affects almost every aspect of the life of the person diagnosed with the disease. For many people living with epilepsy, the stigma attached to the condition is more difficult to deal with than the condition itself.

پاکستان کے صوبہ پنجاب کے پانچ اضلاع میں پولیو کے خاتمے کے لیے قطرے پلانے کی تازہ مہم جاری ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں یونیسف پاکستان کے سربراہ عبداللہ فاضل آج لاہور میں موجود تھے جہاں انہوں نے بچوں کو پولیو سے بچاؤ کے قطرے بھی پلائے۔ عبداللہ نے پولیو فرنٹ لائن ورکرز سے ملاقات کی اور صوبے میں پولیو کے خاتمے کے لیے ان کی خدمات کو سراہا۔
