A meeting was held with animal welfare NGOs, civil society members, academia, and the Police Animal Rescue Center. We discussed key animal welfare issues being reported and the challenges faced during rescue and treatment efforts. All participants agreed to collaborate and move forward with a joint approach to improve coordination and impact. More than 1000 equines have been treated by different organisations and institutions in a quarter.
