A 32-year-old female, a known case of **Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP)**, presented with symptomatic splenomegaly and persistent thrombocytopenia despite optimal medical management.

After thorough evaluation and multidisciplinary consultation, a **splenectomy** was planned as definitive treatment. The procedure was performed successfully without intraoperative complications.

Postoperatively, the patient demonstrated significant clinical improvement with a steadily rising platelet count and remained hemodynamically stable. She is recovering well and continues to remain under close follow-up.
