YDA was created accidently in JULY 2008 at Mayo Hospital Lahore due to a Wheat Pill poisoning case in Mayo Emergency under the Dynamic Leadership of Dr Salman Kazmi,Dr Rana Sohail,Dr Talha Shewani,Dr Lala Rukh,Dr Sarmad Waqas etc for the rights,protection and living and Serving with honor to save the Lives...We the Young Doctors Of Pakistan feel proud n pleasure that an association which was made

in near past(july 2008) has progressed so quickly to far frm areas,frm a Hospital(MAYO) to Cities,to Districts,to regions,to provinces AT ALL PAKISTAN LEVEL.Hats off! Long Live YDA PAKISTAN

On behalf of YDA Pakistan, I Dr Salman kazmi, general secretary of YDA Pak, congratulate YDA Sindh on their huge success on MDCAT issue . Dr Mehboob Noonari chairman YDA Sindh, Dr Roshan Chandio, president YDA Sindh, Dr kaleem Khoso Patron in chief of YDA Sindh , Dr Mehran shar vice chairman YDA sindh and their team have done great struggle in restoration of merit and fight against corruption.

Yda Pakistan stands upright for true merit and rights of doctors and MDCAT students. We are hopeful to continue our work and callaboration with YDA Sindh in future and we are on board with them.

Lady doctor r***d in India

Imagine your legs being so forcefully pulled apart, that your pelvis breaks.
Your neck strangled till your mouth bleeds. The specs you wear, crushed hard into your eyes. Imagine all this happening to you while all you were doing was saving someone else's life.
This isn't a horror story. It's the reality of the and year PG of Chest Medicine, RG Kar Medical College Kolkata India . This isn't about doctors anymore. It's about humanity, if any left. Speak up, don't let this die!

Dr Sawaira Saif Sahiba will be President YDA Pakistan ( Female Wing ) . She is presently based at Mayo hospital Lahore and very hardworking and dedicated . Has always been very helpful for doctors and patients.

Anyone using the name of the association to mislead others will be prosecuted by our legal team at copyright tribunal session courts . Mr Imran Gujjar has been given directions to file the petition against concerned in due time .

Notices will be served at their Private clinics / centers as well as work place address available on record.

We continue to guide our juniors and colleagues on how to open up their own clinics and slowly learn to survive. This is the only way to eradicate quackery by providing public an alternative. First CEO Punjab Health care commission Dr Ajmal always says to me that their is an unmet need and you people need to bridge in and provide quality cheap medical treatment to public . Quacks will automatically get washed away .

A grandson of 1954 Graduate of MBBS from King Edward Medical College Lahore contacted me today to get duplicate degree of MBBS . I have guided him the way how to verify and later apply for the duplicate degree after paying fee to Punjab university.

Around 50 graduates of King Edward Medical College degrees are lying at student section since years and they never took them . Don't understand that if they never needed the degree why did they waste 5 years here .

No doctor in Pakistan should work unpaid. Doctors must be paid in house job and PG training even at private sector and pay must be equal to Govt sector .

The students working at a private medical college on sheikhupura interchange got a pay raise of 22 k per month last year in house job by a writ petition filed by us in High court. Later the matter is before PMDC now . So it does work , plus petitioner was my self in the case . All of them are requested to register as our members and support all the good work being done further on the matter

CPSP authorities have taken notice of the complaint of charging money from PG's by few private medical colleges/ hospitals for giving them induction.

All concerned PG's can send an email on :

There is zero tolerance on this issue and immediately registration of the concerned institution gets suspended on a complaint after a brief inquiry

Plus all PG Training in Pakistan is paid and all private institutions are bound to pay equal stipend to PG's as per Govt sector .

Copy of affidavit furnished by Head of Private medical colleges and hospitals is enclosed as well.

Various private hospitals in the province are charging PG trainee doctors for giving them induction into FCPS Training programs . CPSP must review the overall situation and de recognize these private teaching hospitals from their website.

Govt of Iraq has advertised Consultant slots but omitted MD MS from the criteria of appointment for registrar and consultant. Only FCPS in mentioned in the advertisement. Already we had taken this matter up and if a fund raising campaign is done , a writ petition can be filed against Federal Govt , PMDC and 17 medical universities in Pakistan on failing to get their degree recognized by foreign countries despite of being equivalent in the country.

Worth reading but very true regarding PG training in Pakistan and such supervisors must be filtered out of the system immediately -

ایگزٹ ایگزام مسئلہ کا حل نہیں ۔ مسئلہ کی نشاندہی ہی غلط کر رہے ہیں آپ ۔ آپ نے فیکٹری لگا لی ، حتمی پروڈکٹ پر کوئ بات ہی نہیں کر رہا کہ وہ غیر معیاری ہے ۔ وجہ پر کوئ بات نہیں کر رہا ۔ ایگزٹ ایگزام پوری دنیا میں کہیں اس طرح وجود ہی نہیں رکھتا جیسے پاکستان میں اس کی روایت ہے ۔ وجہ صاف ظاہر ہے کہ پروڈکٹ پر اعتبار نہیں یا تیاری والی فیکٹری خراب ہے؟ جگہ جگہ غیر معیاری جعلی پروڈکشن کا ڈھیر بھی خود لگایا ہوا اور پھر معیار کی بات کھوکھلے پن کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں ۔ سپروائزر کو آپ دے کیا رہے ہیں کہ وہ خود کو پڑھنے پڑھانے پر وقف کرے جیسا کہ حق ہے ؟ واللہ ابھی ایک مصری کا لیکچر سنا ایکو کارڈیو گرافی کے حوالہ سے ۔۔ ایک گھنٹے کا لیکچر اور آخر پر کہتا ، اللہ گواہ رہنا میں نے جو ابھی تک اس حوالے سے علم حاصل کیا ،آگے پہنچا دیا ۔۔ پاکستان میں کنسلٹنٹس اور سپر وائیزرز کو علمی قبض کا سامنا ہے کیونکہ انہیں لگتا ہے کہ جونئر کو مہارت سکھا دینے سے انکا رزق کم ہو جاۓ گا ؟ جہاں ایم سی پی ایس یا ڈپلومہ عام وہاں ائ ایم ایم پر ایم سی پی ایس نہ دے کر پارٹ ٹو والوں کو سستی مزدوری پر رکھنا اور پھر پارٹ ٹو میں ذلیل کرنا یہ سب سواۓ علمی قبض اور بغض رکھنے کے کچھ نہیں۔ سیکھنا ایک continuous پراسس اسی لیے پوری دنیا میں ایگزٹ سے زیادہ ٹریننگ ، ریسرچ اور CME کو پریفر کیا جا رہا ۔ لاہور کے چوٹی کے پلمونولوجسٹ ،معیاری برونکو سکوپی کرنی نہیں آتی ، وجہ ؟ کنسلٹنٹ کارڈیالوجیسٹ ، معیاری ایکو کرنی نہیں آتی ، وجہ؟ آپ نے کبھی غور کیا کہ مہارتیں سیکھنے اور سکھانے میں ہم پوری دنیا سے کتنا پیچھے ہیں؟ ڈاکٹر کا کام مہارت سیکھنا ہے ، ٹیچنگ اسپتالوں کا کام مہارتوں کو فروغ دینا ہے ، یہاں ٹیچنگ اسپتال اسکینڈری درجے پر کام کر رہے تو گلہ کس سے کریں؟ آپ مسئلہ کی جڑ کو پکڑیں اور تدارک کا سوچیں ۔ سطحی بات کرنا اور سپروائزر یا پی جی کو مورد الزام ٹھہرانا مسئلے کا درست حل نہیں

Universities and CPSP must cancel supervisor status of Consultants if their PG's fail to pass within stipulated time and their desertation and synopsis are not approved in time . This must be a continuous process every year . And it should be widely publicized as well.

Many foreigners are coming to King Edward Medical University Lahore for a month or more observership . One of the doctors from Singapore was here and enjoyed his stay here for four weeks . This was his first visit to Pakistan ever . He met me on my Sunday rounds at the ward as well and was looked after by VC KEMU Prof Mahmood Ayyaz sb and Prof of Emergency Medicine Prof Yar Muhammad sb .
Despite the fact some junior doctors tried to discourage him with their comments that we are trying to run away from this country and you are here for observership, we kept him motivated and helped him out in his four weeks stay .
Three more are also around from Oman and Philippines. Local doctors are requested to facilitate foreigners, don't make them feel like alliens and everyone must welcome them every where .
They ll be your ambassadors once they go back to their own countries.

Foreign students also play a key role in uplifting the international ranking of a University.

One of my friends came from UK and said sir it was my first call their and the English consultant who was supposed to be on call with me searched my number from the duty roster and gave me a phone call one day prior to the duty that I have to bring lunch for you, please tell me what would you like to eat tomorrow.
He says consultant on call usually gives around chocolates to the whole team on duty . While here in our country consultants or supervisors don't even know the names or on ground situation of their trainees and are busy scolding their trainees during classes and rounds . What to talk about lunch or chocolates .
