Eid Mubarak !!!

This year, Eid feels a little different.

Working in oncology constantly reminds me how fragile, and how resilient, truly is. Every dataset, every patient story, every small breakthrough carries a deeper meaning beyond the lab or the clinic.

Eid is a pause. A moment to step back from the intensity of research, deadlines, and outcomes; and to reconnect with gratitude, compassion, and purpose.

Grateful for:
- The science that keeps evolving
- The people who trust us with their care
- The teams who keep showing up, even on the hardest days

And above all, the quiet hope that the work we do today will change someone’s tomorrow.

Wishing you and your loved ones peace, health, and strength.

Eid Mubarak 🌙

Last October I got conducted an Awerness session on Breast Cancer at Rotaract Club of Lahore.

What was interesting about these sessions was: I invited men as well.

Initially, participating males were feeling awkward and of impression this session is irrelevant to us.

However, by the end of the session, all of them gave their feedback that now we know why our presence is extremely important in combating breast cancer.

Whenever we talk about awareness, it begins at two main levels. One is individual and other is family. If anyone got this unfortunate disease, one fight is individual’s struggle and other front is covered by family members that includes men.

Also be aware “Breast cancer occurs in men too”.

So, keep doing regular screening because early detection is the our best strategy to win fight against breast cancer.

Did you know many cancers are associated with lifestyle factors?

Smoking, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, and excessive alcohol use increase the risk.

Choosing healthier habits like regular exercise, nutritious food, and routine medical checkups, can help lower the risk.

Awareness and prevention save lives.
