To connect an IP camera to an NVR, use an Ethernet cable to link the camera to a PoE (Power over Ethernet) port on the NVR or a separate PoE switch. Power on the camera and NVR, then connect the NVR to your network router with another Ethernet cable to enable internet access. The NVR will often automatically detect the camera, or you may need to manually add it via the NVR's web interface or a connected monitor.
