Normal Right kidneyReniform (bean-shaped) – This is the normal contour.
• Smooth, regular outer contour without bulges or indentations (except at the hilum).

2. Size:
• Normal adult right kidney length: 9 to 12 cm (slightly smaller than the left kidney, especially in right-handed individuals).
• Width: ~4–6 cm.
• Thickness (anteroposterior): ~3–4 cm.
• Note: Size may vary based on age, body size, and hydration status.

3. Appearance (Echotexture and Structure):
• Cortex: Hypoechoic or isoechoic relative to the liver or spleen.
• Medulla (Pyramids): Hypoechoic or anechoic compared to cortex.
• Central echogenic complex (renal sinus): Bright echogenic area due to fat and fibrous tissue.
• Corticomedullary differentiation (CMD): Clearly visible in a healthy kidney.
• No hydronephrosis (dilated collecting system), masses, or stones.

Right ovarian cyst or ectopic pregnancy!!

Ovarian Cyst:
An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that forms on or inside an o***y. Most ovarian cysts are benign (non-cancerous) and can resolve on their own, but some can cause symptoms depending on their size and type.

Types of Ovarian Cysts:
Functional Cysts: These are the most common and form during the menstrual cycle. There are two types:
Follicular cysts: Occur when a follicle (the sac that holds the egg) doesn’t break open to release the egg.
Corpus luteum cysts: Occur after the egg is released, but the follicle doesn’t dissolve as it should.
Dermoid Cysts: Contain tissue such as hair, fat, or bone and are typically present at birth.
Endometriomas (Endometriosis-related cysts): Develop when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows on the ovaries.
Cystadenomas: Form from the cells on the outer surface of the o***y and can become quite large.
Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS): A condition where multiple small cysts form on the ovaries, often accompanied by hormonal imbalances.

Ectopic Pregnancy:
An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg implants and begins to grow outside the uterus, typically in one of the fallopian tubes. However, it can also occur in other places such as the o***y, cervix, or abdominal cavity.

Signs and Symptoms:
Severe pelvic or abdominal pain: Usually on one side (in this case, the right side).
Vaginal bleeding or spotting: This can vary from light to heavy.
Shoulder pain: Caused by internal bleeding irritating the diaphragm.
Dizziness, fainting, or weakness: These can indicate internal bleeding or rupture.
Positive pregnancy test (early signs of pregnancy), but no visible intrauterine pregnancy.
Causes and Risk Factors:
Previous ectopic pregnancies.
Fallopian tube issues, such as scarring or damage from infections like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
Endometriosis.
Contraceptive use, such as intrauterine devices (IUDs) or tubal ligation.
Smoking can increase the risk of an ectopic pregnancy.
Fertility treatments can also increase the risk.
