During the session, students were taught in detail:
The importance of bed making in promoting patient comfort and rest
Prevention of pressure sores
Maintaining infection control and cleanliness
Creating a neat, organized, and professional ward environment
Through practical demonstration, students learned:
Different types of beds such as Closed Bed, Open Bed, and Occupied Bed
Correct handling of linen and use of proper body mechanics
Maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and nursing ethics
The leadership of Vice Principal Sir Ahmed Ullah and the clear explanations, practical demonstration, and hands-on teaching by Sir Umer Imtiaz helped students understand the concept effectively and confidently. Such combined sessions promote teamwork, discipline, and professional attitude among students and play a vital role in building strong clinical skills.
