How does Cupping work to detox and heal?

Cupping causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell hereby stimulating blood to flow to the affected area. This increase in blood flow under the cup draws impurities and toxins away from the near by tissues and organs to the skin, from where they will be expelled; localised and deep tissue healing thus takes place.

Dry Cupping

The skin immediately below the cup is sucked up by a vacuum created inside the cup this aids in deep relaxing of the tissue

Wet Cupping

میں نے اپنے سرجن دوست سے حجامہ کے حوالے سےسوال کیا ..
ڈاکٹر صاحب کیا تم حجامہ کرتے ہو?, . .
تو وہ حقارت اور استہزاء سے مجھے دیکھتے ہوئے جواب دیتا ہے . عثمان بھائی مجھے کیا لینا دینا ہے ہزاروں سال پرانے طریقہ علاج کو اپناتے ہوئے . میرے پاس جدید میڈیکل سائنس کے انسٹومنٹ موجود ہے .مجھے حجامہ کرنے یا کروانے کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں .

HIJAMAH - WET CUPPING THERAPY ACTION ON THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM

Many people associate Hijamah with the clearance of toxins and morbidities from the body via the microcirculatory system and they would be correct in their thinking. However there is more to hijamah than simply removing blood stasis.
It allows the clearance of any occlusions in the Lymphatic ducts which are part of the greater Lymphatic System.

Functions of the Lymphatic System
The lymphatic system is a network that runs throughout the human body, which has a number of different functions. Serving as one of the body’s main vessels of immunity, the lymphatic's primary function is to create immune cells. The system also helps to shuttle away fluids from tissue in the body, as well as absorb fat and move that fat to the circulatory system.

It is very similar to the circulatory system. Both are extensive networks of tubes that go virtually everywhere in the body. But where the circulatory system moves blood around the body, the lymphatic system moves a clear liquid known as lymph throughout the body.

Lymph
Lymph is full of white blood cells, also known as lymphocytes, which are the body’s main tools in the immune response. When plasma is released into tissue to help the body, the lymph vessels are where it ultimately drains, so that they can transport it away from the tissue to the thoracic duct, where it is returned to the circulatory system.

Lymph Nodes
At a point along the body within the lymphatic system there are small nodes, known as lymph nodes. These lymph nodes are full of white blood cells, and act as vessels to filter out foreign matter. When the body fights off sickness, the white blood cell count increases dramatically to help battle the virus or bacteria, and the white blood cells collect in the lymph nodes. This is why the lymph nodes swell with sickness. There are hundreds of lymph nodes found throughout the human body, but they tend to be found in large clusters in the groin, chest, neck, abdomen, and armpits.

Mechanical action on the Lymphatic System
Unlike the heart for the circulatory system, the lymphatic system isn’t pressurized by a muscle and therefore lymph doesn’t flow at nearly the same speed. Instead, the flow of lymph through the lymphatic system is fairly slow, driven by small valves, and the slight contraction of muscles around the skeleton. Because the pressure involved is so slight, it is actually fairly easy to hamper the flow of lymph throughout the body. Since the results are not nearly as drastic as, for example, hampering the flow of blood would be, many people do not immediately notice a change. Even wearing very tight clothing for long periods of time can slow down the functioning of the lymphatic system, resulting in the fluid buildup usually referred to as Oedema.

Swollen Lymph Nodes
Swollen lymph nodes are part of the body's immune response to inflection. Generally the swelling indicates you've got a viral infection. It could also be a sign of a bacteria inflection, allergies, and thyroid troubles.

Occluded Lymph Nodes
Lymphatic obstruction is a blockage of the lymph vessels that drain fluid from tissues throughout the body and allow immune cells to travel where they are needed. Lymphatic obstruction may cause lymphedema, which means swelling due to a blockage of the lymph passages.

Skin infections such as cellulitis (more common in obese patients)
Surgery
Tumors

Hijamah
When suction is applied to the epidermis of a patient ,not only does the negative pressure pluck up the skin but also lifts everything contained within the area of site which include blood vessels,adipose tissue and of course the lymphatic channels which run beneath the epidermis.
After the scarification process all kinds of toxins and stagnant fluids are exhumed rendering both the blood vessels and lymphatic channels clear of any obstructions that may be detrimental to the health of a person.
