Sara Welfare Blood Bank (SWBB), is Pakistan first ever non-profit non-government organization working to establish blood donors network across Pakistan.
Sara Welfare Blood Bank came into existance in July 2014. With the core purpose of generating blood donation, it started working on 27th November, 2014. Our newly established organization soon got popularity among Pakistani donors and blood seekers for our unique online advance platform that is capable to serve 182 million population in time of need for blood. Pakistan, a developing country faces grave problems in taking health care services closer to the community, especially in fulfilling the needs of Pakistani people for the safest and reliable blood services. The situation is more complex in rural areas where a large number of people live without access to the basic education and primary health facilities. In addition to this, another major difficulty is the lack of public awareness among people in rural areas. The establishment of Sara Welfare Blood Bank is an effort to tackle this problem through voluntary donations by encouraging and mobilizing people about the importance of blood donations for both the donors and receivers. We're determined to uplift blood donation culture in all parts of Pakistan so that every Pakistani can get free blood in time of need.
