Alhamdulillah!
Our resident, Dr. Wajeeh ur Rehman, proudly represented the Department of Medicine at the Cardiac Research Awards 2025, organized by the Health Research Advisory Board during CardioCon 2025. Competing against residents from across Pakistan, he achieved outstanding success, winning the National Award for Best Oral and Best Poster Presentation—after first securing the top position at the provincial level.

The Department of Medicine has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PharmEvo to strengthen collaboration in clinical research, academic development, and evidence-based healthcare innovations. This partnership marks a significant milestone in fostering research excellence, enabling joint studies, mentorship programs, and data-driven initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Through this MoU, both institutions reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing medical science and translating research into meaningful clinical practice. The collaboration will also create new opportunities for faculty, residents, and students to engage in scholarly projects that bridge industry support and academic rigor.
