Today, I have discussed the role of oral semaglutide in the management of diabetes. Although injectable semaglutide has a slightly better profile than oral semaglutide in terms of efficacy, HbA1c reduction, weight reduction, and reduction of MACE. But now, oral semaglutide is one of the options in the management of diabetes especially in patients in which GLP-1 is indicated but want to avoid injectable therapy and in patients with trypanophobia.

Session on Role of SGLT-2 inhibitors in management of diabetes. Discussed CardioRenalMetabolic benefits of SGLT-2 inhibitors and also about Contraindications & Cautions to use SGLT-2 inhibitors. Individualised management of Diabetes and metabolic problems is very important. With new advancements in the management of metabolic problems, we have many options, but the proper selection of patients is very important. With efficacy, benefits of drugs, discussion regarding side effects, and where not to use any specific drug are very important. I really appreciate the interest and quality questions from the audience in today's programme.
