Rare Wisdom Tooth Surgical Case | Successful Retrieval

We managed a rare complication of a lower third molar (wisdom tooth), where the tooth was displaced lingually during a previous surgical extraction attempt.

Using advanced 3D CBCT imaging, the exact position of the displaced tooth was accurately localized. A carefully planned surgical approach using an envelope flap with post-lateral extension was performed, and the tooth was successfully retrieved.

This case highlights the importance of proper diagnosis, advanced imaging, and expert surgical management in complex dental situations.
