Orientation Session for New Academic Batch | Session 2025–26

AJK Medical College Muzaffarabad organized an Orientation Session for the newly admitted students of the Academic Session 2025–26, marking the formal induction of the new batch into the academic and professional framework of the institution.

The session was conducted to familiarize students with the college’s academic system, institutional policies, code of conduct, and professional standards. Faculty members and administrative officials briefed the students on the curriculum structure, teaching and assessment methodologies, clinical training requirements, and expectations regarding discipline, academic integrity, and ethical medical practice.

The orientation highlighted the vision and mission of AJK Medical College in delivering quality medical education, promoting professionalism, and preparing competent healthcare professionals dedicated to service, compassion, and responsibility toward society.

AJK Medical College extends a warm welcome to the new batch of Session 2025–26 and reaffirms its commitment to providing a structured, supportive, and high-quality learning environment aimed at developing a disciplined, capable, and exemplary cohort of future medical professionals.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐮 & 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐫, paid an official visit to 𝐀𝐉𝐊 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 with the objective of strengthening academic excellence and institutional development. The delegation included the Director General Health, Executive Director AMIS, and other senior administrative officers.

During the visit, the Secretary Health was warmly received by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐣, Principal, 𝐀𝐉𝐊 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝, who presented a comprehensive briefing on academic affairs, departmental progress, and future development initiatives.

A detailed briefing was also presented by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐫, Principal Nursing College, regarding the opening and operational readiness of the Nursing College. The Secretary Health directed the early commencement of academic activities and reviewed relevant academic and administrative arrangements.

The Secretary Health appreciated the dedication and efforts of the college administration and emphasized continuous improvement, institutional strengthening, and academic excellence.
