A review meeting on the Polio Eradication Campaign held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Muzaffargarh.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of strong interdepartmental coordination to ensure the 100% success of the polio campaign scheduled from 2 to 5 February. He reiterated that polio eradication is a collective responsibility and that no child in District Muzaffargarh should be left without vaccination.
It was shared that during the campaign, over 855,000 children under the age of five will be administered polio drops through 3,693 door-to-door vaccination teams. The meeting included a detailed review of team preparedness, security arrangements, and key operational challenges.
The session was attended by representatives from WHO and UNICEF, along with officials from various government departments and stakeholders, reflecting a strong commitment to collaborative action in support of public health and global polio eradication efforts.
