کہنے کو تو دو سال گزر گئے… مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ایک بھی لمحہ ایسا نہیں گزرا جس میں آپ یاد نہ آئے ہوں۔ آپ کی کمی آج بھی اُتنی ہی گہری ہے جتنی اُس دن تھی، جب آپ رخصت ہوئے تھے۔ وقت نے صرف زخم پر مرہم رکھا ہے، یادوں کی تپش آج بھی ویسی ہی ہے۔

باپ کی محبت وہ سائبان ہے جو زندگی کی تپتی دھوپ میں ٹھنڈک بن کر ساتھ رہتا ہے۔ وہ وہ ستون ہے جس پر پوری زندگی کا بھروسہ ٹکا ہوتا ہے۔ آپ کی محبت، آپ کا شفقت بھرا لمس، آپ کی دعائیں… آج بھی میرے دل کی سب سے بڑی طاقت ہیں۔

آپ صرف والد نہیں تھے… آپ میرے پہلے اُستاد بھی تھے۔ ہر نصیحت، ہر رہنمائی، ہر دعا نے مجھے وہ بنایا جو آج ہوں۔ آج میں جو اس مقام تک پہنچا ہوں، لوگوں کا احترام، یہ سب آپ کی تربیت اور آپ کی محنت کی بدولت ہے۔
